Implementation Assessment

Do the benefits of a new technology justify its costs and risks?

When you are thinking of replacing an old technology a host of questions come up:
  • What are the best options?

  • How well developed is the best alternative?

  • What will be the full cost in time and money to bring it to production?

  • What are the risks?  Does it make sense to change?

  • Cost-benefit studies show my alternative makes sense, but how does the full cost of actually putting the alternative into production and doing it really compare with just keeping on using my present technology?

  • What is the best way to phase out the old technology and phase in the new?

Implementation Assessment is a way of answering these questions that for both our commercial and our defense department clients.  We draw on our wide technical knowledge and process qualification experience and our Joint Strike Fighter technology analysis, together with a unique cost analysis decision tool developed for the DoD Strategic Environmental R&D program, to give a very thorough view of the best technology alternatives and the likely costs and risks of making the change.

Defense Department Implementation Assessments can be done through the HCAT program, providing a great depth of knowledge from prime contractors and repair depots.

For commercial Implementation Assessments the necessary experience is provided by our Rowan Technology Group members.
